BROWN, Alfred J. A Joyous Entry into Brighter Belgium. London. Simpkin, Marshall, Hamilton, Kent & Co.Ltd. 1923.
8vo (188 x 118). pp, 128. Black & white frontspiece and seven plates. Some light browning and spotting otherwise contents clean. Grey printed cloth. Very good. The writer extols the beauty of Belgium and points out, contrary to the popular view in the early 1920's, "It is a mistake, however, to imagine that the whole country was desolated. Much of the historical and the more beautiful part is unscathed; and much even of the scattered area is already rebuilt". Scarce.
