(285 x 200). pp, xii, (4), 222. Black and white engraved frontspiece and 13 further engraved plates all with guards. Some very light browning and spotting to endpapers and occasional page and plate edges but generall very clean. Gilt top edge and fore and bottom edges uncut. Full vellum binding by Mansell with bevelled edges to boards. Gilt ruled and decorated borders to both boards and gilt central flower to upper board. Gilt decorated spine with black rubbed title and date labels. Vellum has some soiling and marks but a sound attractive binding. Inscription at head of front free endpaper 'William Johnson Stone left Eton. Easter 1892. from his tutor gratefully'. A large book which may be subject to additional postage.
